From February 2018 onwards Love to be Green Florists will be once again running a number of Seasonal Floral Courses within the area of Newton Abbot, Devon.
Florists may replicate some of our popular classes, however without the relevant teaching skills of a qualified Tutor.
So we would like you to know that your classes will be held by our
Qualified Adult & Further Education Tutor Susan Hodges, who has at least 15 years teaching experience..
Susan's style and experience are reflected in her excellent teaching methods and ability to demonstrate method and technique in a calm, patient and straightforward manner.
Most classes are suitable for a variety of skill sets and individual attention is given by Tutor when needed to support Learners.
Whether you come along to one session or more, we are sure you will enjoy the informal, instructive and professional tuition. The session/s will help you to be more creative and explore different materials and products and improve your skills and knowledge.
Workshops and courses are constantly updated to reflect changing trends and techniques.

Mother's Day Special or for anyone interested in Floriography or the language of flowers which
became popular in the Victorian era.
Now, giving flowers with symbolic meaning is having a revival.

In this practical workshop we will explore the
origins and development of floriography and look at the meaning of various
flowers. After you will experience making your own beautiful hand-tied posy with a coded
message to take home or to give to someone special.
Under our relaxed, expert tuition you will learn how to select and condition your flowers and then make a beautiful, seasonal posy in a romantic style, which we will also wrap as it would have been given all those years ago.
You will all recieve genuine hands-on tuition and advice from your qualified and experienced Tutor, Susan Hodges.
